Tbilisi International Airport (TAV) will be partially closed for some time during each day from March 1st for approximately four months in order to rennovate the airport’s runway.
Amiran Mamaladze, representative of TAV, told Georgia Today that there is no plan on TAV’s side to reschedule or cancel flights as some reports have falsely announced.
He added that the exact time of renovation works will be be provided soon.
Mamaladze further informed Georgia Today that the air companies have been informed of the renovation works well in advance and will choose themselves whether to alter their flying hours or cancel flights.
