Georgia received the most number of tourists among the South Caucasus states last year, touristic and hotel field report conducted by Ameria reads.
According to the report by Ameria, Georgia received the most number of tourists in region, followed by Azerbaijan and Armenia last year.
As the conducted study of last ten years shows, the touristic flows to Georgia doubled. It reached from 28.8% in 2002 to 54.9 in 2011. At the same time flows to Armenia almost do not change from 15.6 to 14.7 in the same period as compared to Georgia. While flows to Azerbaijan went down from 55.6 percent to 30.4% during the same period. / source: news.am
