Armenia hosts 4-th Pan-Armenian Barbecue Fest on 8 September 2012
The 4-th Pan-Armenian barbecue festival will be held in Akhtala Town – Armenia’s Lori Region on September 8, 2012.
One of the organizers is Development and Maintenance of Armenian Culinary Traditions NGO.
“The objective of the festival is to present and spread our national cuisine as well as to boost tourism,” he noted.
Like previous year, the festival is expected to attract a large number of visitors. Festival’s official opening at 14:00pm will follow a contest program, Mamulyan said.
13 local restaurants will participate in the fest. Regional restaurants and individuals have also submitted bids for participation in the festival.
The festival is sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, municipality and Lori governor’s office.
